Mission
Our Mission is Discipleship
The altar is just the beginning of the Christian life. God does not call us just to believe; He calls us to walk with Him and go deeper into the life of faith.
At SOZO Outreach, we believe that Ezekiel 47:3-5 illustrates the progression of faith that takes place in the Christian walk: from ankle deep, to knee deep, to waist deep, to chest deep, and finally to the deepest waters that require one to swim. Our mission is to teach and lead our congregation through each of these phases, to the place where they can experience a deeper, personal walk with Christ, and then likewise share in the kingdom work and discipleship of others.
“And HE brought me through the waters; they came up to my ankles. Again he measured 1,000 and brought me through the waters; the water came up to my knees. Again he measured 1,000 and brought me through; the water came up to my waist. Again he measured 1,000, and it was a river that I could not cross; for the water was too deep, water in which one must swim”
